Due to large gatherings, littering and campfires we have been forced to close the second parking lot at Seymour Conservation Area. You are still able to access the quarry, but will have to walk from the first parking lot. Please be aware there will also be an increase in patrolling and enforcement in this area as well. If you observe improper use of our conservation authorities, please contact our Manager of Conservation Lands at 613 391 4117 .

Seymour Conservation Area has continuously been improved since purchased in 1973.  Oak Alvar Savannah restoration and trail improvements are just a couple examples of Lower Trent Conservation’s work on this property.  Each spring (May/June), Lower Trent Conservation hosts Seymour Family Fishing Day at the quarry where families can spend the day catching fish and winning prizes.
